Bringing the Kids to Work

I wish!  Since my commute involves a train ride, I don’t think my fellow passengers would appreciate my bringing two large dogs with me.  And I don’t know what their reaction would be to the subway scene either.  Buuuut, one day, I was missing them, and I decided to switch the background of my computer to pics of them, and I worked it so the slide show changes pictures every few hours!  I have about 15 pics or so in random rotation.

Nice!  You guys do anything like that or do I need a straight jacket?

Mom has framed photos of us on her desk & a picture collage of us on her pin board in her office. Everbuddy asks about us & we get sent barkday wishes etc. So we vote that you are 100% normal!

Pawsome slide show! We think it would be great to be able to ride the train and think the commuters would love it. It would make the train ride more exciting.

When Mommy worked in an office, I got to go to work with her all of the time. The owner even had an office dog and Buddy and I became best furends. It was great!
Even then, Mommy’s office was loaded with pictures of me.

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle

Yep, my desktop photo is of my boys, too! What else would I use?! Plus framed shots of Jimmy/Wilson doing agility. It’s a good conversation starter when someone comes to my cube….Even if I am thought of as the slightly odd dog lady 🙂

Mom plans to order a giant canvas print for the wall in the bedroom … and who will be on the canvas? ME! Das says we are crazy, but I think that’s a good idea… and if I had won Mollies Bra on the auction it would look even better :o)

I wish too, but teaching a special ed class (and a very active and some what crazy group of teens with cognitive disabilities at that) might be even more of challenge with five dogs, plus the train thing

Mom has us as a background and a screen saver and on her phone screen, so we are always around! Too bad they can’t go with you to work, if they behave, they should go!

We’re on her mobile phone–that we haven’t seen in months….wonder where that thing is?

We think that’s a great idea. On stressful days, you can just think of what’s waiting for you at home.

I like it! The peeps need to think about us when they’re away at work… They should think about us all the time… What else is more interesting/important than us to think about?!

    May 26, 2013 @ 08:06:48

Yup, I have a slideshow of my dogs and cats as my screensaver at work. I also have a photo of one of them as the background on my phone (I change it every so often). I wish I could actually have them with me at work too! But I work at a store with people going in and out all of the time, so I’d have to worry about them escaping, or keep them confined which I would hate to do (there is no door on my office).

Haha, those pics were funny! Eve has hundreds of pics of me, which is quite sad! I think she’s a little bit obsessed with me. Actually, this is quite worrying. All of her screen savers on everything are of me! I’m concerned, I do believe I have a stalker!
    Have a super week,
    Pippa 🙂

    May 27, 2013 @ 10:39:49

Of course I have the pack’s picture on the computer desktop at work!! (It’s only four of them though, don’t need everyone knowing all about my business) The picture is from a trip to our farm, the four pack (at the time) sitting in one of the fields. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to be able to take a dog to work? I know people that do and I am so jealous.

I’ve always thought it would be fun to bring my boys to work. Unfortunately, it’s a long commute each way, and I don’t think they’d appreciate it nearly as much as I would! I’d love to have a desktop photo of my boys on my work computer, but it’s a shared computer, so I can’t do that. I’ll definitely do that at my real job when I graduate though!

    May 28, 2013 @ 05:17:22

What a brilliant idea – I love it! I am so lucky that I get to come into work, I don;t know how the boss would get anything done if I wasn’t here, I shred papers, empty bins, greet everyone, steal lunches, squeak toys at him in the middle of impawtant phone calls – like I said how would he cope without me here!

We think you are perfectly normal. Mommy has 2 photos on her desk at work.. One photo is of Me and Benji and the 2nd photo is a family photo of humans. I have to say, the picture of me and Benji is much larger than the human family photo one!
