Happiness is a Blur of Fur

2013-03-13 18.33.11

This is what I see when I walk in the door at night!

I want to thank all of you who commented on my rants last week.  I just needed to let it allllllll out.  I decided not to call the shelter where we got Charley.  I decided that no matter what they could have told me, I wouldn’t be returning him, so it’s ok.

He’s doing a lot better at his potty training.  Just some minor peeps if the dog walker can’t get him to go in the middle of the day, and we have it mostly all under control when we are home.  He sleeps through the night and we are enjoying getting to know him now too.

He has a lot of energy!  And Finn just loves to play with him.  When I come home and see two happy puppies who can’t wait to give me hugs and kisses and licks hello, I know we did the right thing by bringing him into our family.

High 5 we think you did the right thing. Just take it as a little period of adjustment. Looks like things are settling down. Onwards and upwards.
On another matter, top of the morning to you.
Have a wonderful St Patricks’ Day.
    Make it a good one.
    Best wishes Molly

In six months time you will have forgotten the first few weeks and instead just love having two wonderful fur babies…and that greeting all that happy wiggly butts, wagging tails and out pouring of love you get when you come home….that is what it is all about. Isn’t it wonderful the smiles they give us

Great title! Mom says with four of us there is always a blur of fur here but she wouldn’t have it any other way. So good to hear things are working out with Charley.

    Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

It is wonderful to hear things are working out. When we got Monty it caused extreme chaos in our house – Monty barely had any manners and it took a while for him to settle in.

WE had to play a bit of catch up since we are only on the computer now for about 1/2 an hour a day, gotta say you are hanging in there well and are pretty sure your patience and suffering will pay off. Charlie sure is beauitiful and he and Finn really compliment each other.
We were so glad to read that things are getting better by the week.

Glad to hear everyone is getting used to each other and things are settling down. The adjustment period is the hardest and good for you for sticking it out! Not that other challenges won’t present themselves, but really, it should be easier to deal with since you made it past the biggest hurdle. 🙂

The way you feel with questions is probably the same way Charley feels, nervous about trying to do the right thing in his new home.
    Thanks for being a friend

Glad things are going better with the potty training. Mommy says our blurs of fur when she comes home are the same colors since Benji and I look alike. At least we can figure out who is whom in your blur of fur photo.
