Marketplace Monday – Rinse Ace

Up until this past spring, giving Finn a bath consisted of me getting Finn in the tub (which she loves) and then filling up a large bowl or a large measuring cup with water in order to get her wet and then to rinse away the shampoo. We don’t have a hand-held shower spray. But this was just getting harder and harder to do and washing Finn’s belly was a complete task. I could take it anymore. So, I found Rinse Ace.

Rinse Ace has a wide variety of shower and bathing products for your pet. I found this one, which we installed and now use: The Delux Pet Shower Spray (photo courtesy of website).

This was so easy to install. First you have to attach a piece to your shower head so that the spray faucet can be connected and disconnected with ease.

Viola! And then you attach the hose and start your shower like you normally would. The head of the hose has an easy on-off toggle which also allows you to set the intensity of the water flow.

When we aren’t using it, we just keep the spray hose and head wrapped up and on the top shelf in our shower cubby. Now I can give Finn a solid bath in half the time. It is so awesome.

Head on over and give their website a look! This is not a paid endorsement!

Lucky you Finn. hehehe. I like the bath tub. But I think MOM would like it to be easier as well to wash me.

Okay, I’m not quite clear on a couple things. Does the connector come with it? And is it difficult to install, or do you just take off the shower head, screw that on, then put the shower head back on. I really like the concept, if it can be bought online anywhere, because I live in Canada. And I still can’t like your posts :O(

Great idea. We have a ‘pensioner’ shower….a detachable handle that can be sprayed in any direction.

What a great idea, giving a big dog a bath, without a shower, is almost impossible..:)

As much as we all hate B-A-T-H time, this looks like a nifty tool.

What a great product! So glad that your Mom found it for you. Sounds like it is making bathtime much easier.

We get a bath in our kitchen sink. Mom bought a new really LARGE one last year and loves it! We fit in there perfectly.

Anything that makes dog baths a less wet and disastrous occasion would be most welcome!

That sure looks like it would make a bath much easier. We don’t like baths, but lucky for us, Momsays she couldn’t handle us very well in the shower anyway. So we go to the groomer’s for our baths.

Hope you are staying dry and keep your power.

Finn you are so good in the shower. I think Annie would be slip sliding all over the place.

You know, we have never washed the boys in the tub – we do it outside with the hose. We are lucky enough to have mild winters where we can do it outdoors all year long. If that ever changes we will check them out.

I have to use a bucket and a cup – any kind of nozzle freaks Blueberry out. I don’t know if her previous home tortured her with it or what, but it’s her one hang up. I’m glad you found this though – it looks so much easier!

We still do it the old-fashioned way with the pot of warm water being poured over us, Finn. Your way looks so much nicer (if you like baths – ick)

    Love ya lots

Wow, that looks like a great product! Giving Cocco a bath is torture but he’s still small enough for a child’s inflatable tub and I have only done it once (didn’t go so well). Not looking forward to doing it again!

Oh, to be large enough to be bathed inside of a bathtub…instead, I get the kitchen sink! Urg! πŸ˜‰ I do like the new attachment that you just got though, seems incredibly helpful, especially when the alternative is a jug!!

That is very similar to the one we use! Mom and dad got it at Lowes and it has a 7 foot hose. It pops on and off as well. But best of all, was pretty cheap – $14!
